Wikipedia says – Satsang / Satsanga / Satsangam is a word which comes from Sanskrit, meaning “to associate with true people”, to be in the company of true people – sitting with a sat guru, or in a group meeting seeking that association. Inner satsang is to raise the consciousness to a level of realization that soul (atma) and Lord (Parmatma) are One.

To me Satsang is  togetherness with seekers of truth.
My Guruji Poojya Rishi Prabhakarji always said for a leader – it’s not important to take efforts for proving or growing his/her greatness (because in being a leaders he/she has already realized the greatness). The real growth for a leader is that he/she takes others along. When we build other great human beings by sharing our skills, our knowledge with them; help them to use it so they express their own greatness in their lives, we naturally grow in our own greatness.
I have always made sure that I am in Satsang. It not just gives me an opportunity to sit at the feet of my Guru and learn from his words, but it helps me grow in my tolerance, my commitment, my connection with others who are need help. It maintains my own learning ability and keeps my arrogance in check.
It is a Vrata for me. 🙏🙏🙏
